Cheektowaga Community Chorus

Picture

The Cheektowaga Community Chorus is a four-part mixed auditioned chorus that seeks to combine the enthusiasm and dedication of volunteer singers with high artistic standards.  Our repertoire of traditional choral literature and popular classics embraces music of many cultures and genres.

Since 1963, the Cheektowaga Community Chorus has brought harmony and inspiration to the greater Cheektowaga community.  The Chorus presents two major concerts per year, and participates in civic and community activities such as a Heritage Gospel Celebration.  Outreach to both youth and senior citizens is a major focus of the group, performing with schools such as the Cheektowga Central High School and Union East Elementary School choirs, and for the senior citizen's Spirit of Sharing Dinner.

Membership is open to all. Cheektowaga residence is not required. The Chorus is a not for profit organization governed by a Constitution and Bylaws.  The Board of Directors supervises all interests and responsibilities of the organization.

The Cheektowaga  Community Chorus rehearses every Tuesday evening from 7-9:30pm in the Cleveland Heights Christian Church, unless otherwise noted.
